Featured is a beautiful complete cystoid in place on matrix, collected
from the famous Osgood Formation in Napoleon, Indiana. The only flaw is
a tiny chip of shell at the base of the stem lost during the collection
process. The backside of the specimen shows shell erosion that occurred
prior to fossilization.
The specimen was professionally prepared by Marc Behrendt.
There is absolutely no restoration on the specimen or matrix.
