       Featured is a very rare Pennsylvanian trilobite, Ditomopyge olsoni, from the Staunton Formation at Coal Run, Indiana.  This may be the best specimen that I obtained.  It is essentially complete, with the cephalon slightly separating from the thorax.  Alongside is what appears to be a glabella from another specimen. 
  
     Partials of this species are rare, complete specimens are extremely rare!

     This specimen was professionally prepared by Marc Behrendt and has no restoration to the bug or matrix.
