This is an uncommon Ceraurus trilobite collected from the famous
Walcott-Rust quarry in New York, originally opened and worked by the
famous paleontologists James Hall and Charles Walcott. The Ceraurus
trilobite is tiny, but complete. The pygidium points downward. The
right genal spine tip is fully complete, the left is missing the spine’s
tip.
This is a beautiful display piece that will add to any collection.
This specimen was professionally prepared by Marc Behrendt and has no
restoration to the fossils or matrix.
