This is a very rare fossil plate with
4 Ceraurus trilobites, plus a very fine,
rare crinoid, collected from the famous Walcott-Rust quarry in New York,
originally opened and worked by the famous paleontologists James Hall
and Charles Walcott.
The crinoid has a long stem, and the crown is
beautifully exposed with the arms nicely laid out. The 4 Ceraurus
trilobites are small, but complete. This is a beautiful display piece
that will add to any collection.
This specimen was professionally prepared by Marc Behrendt and has no
restoration to the fossils or matrix.
