This is a Ceraurus
trilobite collected from the famous Walcott-Rust quarry in New York,
originally opened and worked by the famous paleontologists James Hall
and Charles Walcott. The Ceraurus trilobite is small, but complete. The
pygidium points downward. The only flaw is the right eye stalk is
missing. There is a big Isotelus thoracic segment just
in front of the trilobite.
This is a beautiful display piece that will add to any collection.
This specimen was professionally prepared by Marc
Behrendt and has no restoration to the fossils or matrix.
The pictures illustrate the quality of this piece.
