       This is a very rare double of an uncommon species.   The first Bathyursiscus is COMPLETE WITH FREE CHEEKS!  The right side is perfect, the left side has a chip missing from the matrix.   The second specimen is complete but without free cheeks, the typical way these bugs are found.   Bathyuriscus with free cheeks are extremely rare!  Doubles of complete specimens are also quite rare, so this is an extraordinary specimen!!!

This trilobite was professionally prepared by Marc Behrendt and has no restoration to the bug or matrix.
