This is a beautiful complete crab obtained from an old collection. No
label was included. This appears to be similar to the crabs found in
British Columbia, but there is no way of knowing. Both large claws are
present. The right side walking legs are easily seen, the left side
legs are sheered away. Only the dorsal side of the crab was prepared.
The specimen was obtained roughly prepped, and was reprepared
professionally by Marc Behrendt. There is absolutely no restoration on
the specimen or matrix.
This specimen looks much
better than the images suggest!!!
