Featured is a semi-prone
Reedops, one of the less common phacopid trilobites from Oklahoma. The
specimen is complete and is covered in pustules that define Reedops,
besides its large faceted eyes and large size. The specimen appears to
have just slightly begun to disarticulate prior to fossilization, with
the thoracic segments slightly compressed against each other, making for
a neat presentation. The only flaw is the tip of the left genal cheek.
The pictures illustrate the quality of this piece.
